Books for sale

Recent donations have added to the Research Center’s holdings, including duplicate books that donors have allowed the Society to sell to support continued operations.

The list of duplicate items includes title, subtitle, author, publisher, publication date, type, condition, and estimated value. Many items are in excellent condition. The PDF list is updated as books are sold.

To order, email us with the item or items you want. Orders are processed in the order received. USGSMD will prepare a PayPal shipping invoice; you may also pay by check. Multiple items can be combined to reduce shipping. Shipping uses USPS Media Mail with tracking and insurance. Current members in good standing receive the standard 20% discount. Maryland residents add 6% sales tax.

Research resources

Caroline County administrative accounts and probate indexes

The Caroline County Administrative Accounts indexes cover 1703–1776 and 1790–1817. They were compiled by USGSMD member Gary Willis.

The Maryland Will and Probate Records Index, 1634–1940, is a joint project of the Maryland State Archives, Comptroller of the Treasury, Register of Wills, and FamilySearch. Volunteers are indexing counties across Maryland; Baltimore, Caroline, and Carroll counties are complete. If you would like to volunteer, email USGSMD.
