Now Accepting Submissions

We are now accepting submissions for the April 2025 issue of the Chesapeake Cousins, Volume 51 Number 2. The deadline for submission for this issue is March 15, 2025. As always, we seek to publish new content of value to those researching their ancestry in our part of the Eastern Shore of Maryland and DelMarVa. Chesapeake Cousins is the Society's journal helping to further the research of our members.

Published twice per year in the spring and fall (April and October), it contains a wide variety of articles submitted by members.

The articles include family group sheets, lineage charts, family histories, stories of success, queries, brick wall research, family Bible records, ancestor biographies, photographs, court records, depositions, newspaper abstracts, military records, tax records, pension lists, immigration records and articles of genealogical and historical interest.

Past issues of the Chesapeake Cousins may be purchased, either individually or as a complete set, Volumes 1 to 51 No. 1 (99 issues) at the USGSMD Bookstore.

New family group sheets have been created for the Family Record Exchange (FRE) and for submission to the Chesapeake Cousins.
